Revealed at Madinah in the period after Uhud, when the community was reorganizing itself. Its central concern is the reform of society: justice for orphans and women, the law of inheritance, marriage and family rights, and firm dealing with the hypocrites โ building a community in which the weak are protected by the law of Allah.
