Introduction — from Tafheem-ul-Quran
From the same late-Makkan period as Al-An'am. Its theme is the invitation to the divine message and the fate of those who reject it, told through the long story of the prophets — Nuh, Hud, Salih, Lut, Shu'ayb and, at length, Musa and Pharaoh — a warning to the Quraysh that the rejecters of every age met the same end.
