Introduction โ from Tafheem-ul-Quran
Revealed before the first migration to Abyssinia; Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) recited its account of Maryam and Isa before the Negus. It narrates the mercy shown to Zakariyya, the miraculous birth of Yahya and of Isa, and Ibrahim's gentle call to his father โ clearing Isa (peace be upon him) of divinity while honouring him as a servant and prophet of Allah.
