A middle-Makkan surah. It answers the objections of the disbelievers to the Quran and the Messenger โ why does he eat food and walk in the markets? โ and ends with the beloved portrait of the 'servants of the Most Merciful': humble in walk, peaceful in speech, devoted by night, moderate in spending, truthful and repentant.
