Introduction โ from Tafheem-ul-Quran
A Makkan surah contrasting two responses to Allah's favours: Dawud and Sulayman, who received power and answered with gratitude, and the people of Saba, who received a land of two gardens and answered with ingratitude โ until the flood of the dam scattered them. Wealth and children bring no one near to Allah; only faith and righteous deeds do.
