A Madinan surah instituting the Friday congregational prayer: when the call is made, hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trade. It rebukes those who scatter to merchandise and amusement, and warns against becoming like the people 'loaded with the Torah' who did not carry it โ knowledge must be lived, not carried like a donkey carries books.
