Introduction โ from Tafheem-ul-Quran
A Madinan surah named after the Day of mutual loss and gain (at-taghabun), when the true worth of every life will be revealed. No affliction strikes except by Allah's leave; among spouses and children there may be trial โ so fear Allah as much as you are able, listen, obey and spend: whoever is saved from the greed of his own soul, those are the successful.
