Introduction — from Tafheem-ul-Quran
Revealed when the Prophet ﷺ, engaged with the Makkan chiefs, frowned at the blind Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum who came seeking knowledge. The gentle correction from heaven established forever that in Allah's scale the sincere seeker outweighs the self-sufficient noble — the Quran is a reminder for whoever wills to remember.
