Introduction — from Tafheem-ul-Quran
An early-Makkan surah on the Overwhelming Event, contrasting faces that Day — downcast, toiling, weary — with faces joyful in a lofty garden. It then turns the eye to the camel, the sky, the mountains and the earth as proofs, and defines the Prophet's ﷺ task: 'So remind; you are only a reminder — you are not over them a controller.'
