Introduction โ from Tafheem-ul-Quran
A Makkan surah sworn by the sacred city in which the Prophet ๏ทบ dwelt. Man was created into toil, yet he has been shown the two highways of good and evil. The steep ascent is defined: freeing a slave, feeding in famine an orphan of kin or a poor man in the dust โ then being of those who believe and enjoin patience and compassion.
