At-Tawbah 9:37

لِّيُوَاطِـُٔوا۟Meaning here: The root وطأ (w-T-ʾ) primarily means "to tread upon" or "to trample." It can also refer to making something plain or soft, or to a place being easy to traverse.

Postponement (of a sacred month) is only an excess of disbelief whereby those who disbelieve are misled; they allow it one year and forbid it (another) year, that they may make up the number of the months which Allah hath hallowed, so that they allow that which Allah hath forbidden. The evil of their deeds is made fairseeming unto them. Allah guideth not the disbelieving folk

At-Tawbah 9:120

يَطَـُٔونَ

It is not for the townsfolk of Al-Madinah and for those around them of the wandering Arabs so stay behind the messenger of Allah and prefer their lives to his life. That is because neither thirst nor toil nor hunger afflicteth them in the way of Allah, nor step they any step that angereth the disbelievers, nor gain they from the enemy a gain, but a good deed is recorded for them therefor. Lo! Allah loseth not the wages of the good

Al-Ahzab 33:27

تَطَـُٔوهَا

And He caused you to inherit their land and their houses and their wealth, and land ye have not trodden. Allah is ever Able to do all things

Al-Fath 48:25

تَطَـُٔوهُمْ

These it was who disbelieved and debarred you from the Inviolable Place of Worship, and debarred the offering from reaching its goal. And if it had not been for believing men and believing women, whom ye know not - lest ye should tread them under foot and thus incur guilt for them unknowingly; that Allah might bring into His mercy whom He will - If (the believers and the disbelievers) had been clearly separated We verily had punished those of them who disbelieved with painful punishment

Al-Muzzammil 73:6

Al-A'raf 7:80

إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلۡفَٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنۡ أَحَدࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

And remember when We sent Lot [as a Messeng to his people and he said to them: 'Do you realize you practise an indecency of which no other people in the world were guilty of before you]

At-Tawbah 9:25

لَقَدۡ نَصَرَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِي كَثِيرَةࣲ وَيَوۡمَ حُنَيۡنٍ إِذۡ أَعۡجَبَتۡكُمۡ كَثۡرَتُكُمۡ فَلَمۡ تُغۡنِ عَنكُمۡ شَيۡـࣰٔ ا وَضَاقَتۡ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتۡ ثُمَّ وَلَّيۡتُم مُّدۡبِرِينَ

Surely Allah has succoured you before on many a battlefield, and (you have yourselves witnessed His succour to you) on the day of Hunayn when your numbers made you proud, but they did you no good, and the earth, for all its vastness, constrained you, and you turned your backs in retreat

Al-Anbiya 21:71

وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلَّتِي بَٰرَكۡنَا فِيهَا لِلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

and We saved him and Lot and brought him to the land upon which We had bestowed Our blessings for all the people of the world

Al-Anbiya 21:74

ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمࣰ ا وَعِلۡمࣰ ا وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ ٱلَّتِي كَانَت تَّعۡمَلُ ٱلۡخَبَٰٓئِثَۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمَ سَوۡءࣲ فَٰسِقِينَ

We bestowed upon Lot sound judgement and knowledge, and We delivered him from the city that was immersed in foul deeds. They were indeed a wicked people, exceedingly disobedient

An-Naml 27:54

إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلۡفَٰحِشَةَ وَأَنتُمۡ تُبۡصِرُونَ

We also sent Lot, and recall when he told his people: "Do you commit shameless acts with your eyes open

Al-Ankabut 29:28

إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِنَّكُمۡ لَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلۡفَٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنۡ أَحَدࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

We sent Lot and he said to his people: “You commit the abomination that none in the world ever committed before you
